Arrivés en 2010 dans le Yukon, Jérôme de Pasquale et Cécile Légaré s'attendaient à rencontrer le froid mais avaient sous-estimé les différences culturelles qui existent entre la France et le Canada : il leur fallait exprimer ces expériences en musique. De leur rencontre avec Stéphane Quentin (basse) sont nés deux E.Ps. Pierre-Emmanuel Mériaud a enrichi les compositions à travers son travail de programmation et de production.
Le premier E.P., « Intermediate Level » (2021), témoigne de cette plongée vers l'inconnu, de son lot de routes sinueuses et de déroutes aussi mineures que fréquentes. Les textes pleins de poésie, en anglais ou en français, évoquent avec une lucidité subjective assumée ce sentiment d'abattement, parfois, et ce besoin de résistance, toujours, devant le spectacle du monde actuel et à venir. La voix sensible et faussement fragile de Jérôme, est soutenue par une musique pleine d’énergie et de mélancolie qui mêle le rock, le post-rock et l’électro.
Leur deuxième E.P. sortira à la fin de l’année.

When Jérôme de Pasquale and Cécile Légaré arrived in Yukon, they had expected to face the cold but had they underestimated the cultural differences that exist between their native country, France, and Canada. It was time to get back to writing music and cast out their personal experience. With Stéphane Quentin, another French musician on bass and Pierre-Emmanuel Mériaud on programming and production work, they have produced two EPs.
The first E.P "Intermediate Level" released in 2021, explores their journey into the unknown, its share of winding roads and minor but frequent setbacks. The lyrics, in French and English, evoke with poetry their disheartened mood at times or their need for resistance watching the world unfold in front of them. Jérôme’s sensitive and deceptively fragile voice is supported by music which is melancholic yet full of energy mixing rock, post-rock and electro.
The second E.P. will be released at the end of the year.
